About Me

Passionate About Data, Computation, Learning, and Knowledge.

Ever since I was young, I have been very curious about the world around me. There are so many complexities in life and I want to abstract and make these complexities simpler. Data, which is a more specific form of information, allows us to analyze and make inferences about this deep web we call life. By defining procedural measures, through the avenues of computer science, we can tackle some of the biggest problems humanity faces.

Even with all amazing advances that have been occurring around data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, etc. there is still one aspect that is --In my humble opinion-- more paramount: safety. We are in a day and age in which every facet of this complex world is reliant on computers. This means that there needs to be a focus on making sure our systems work as intended. This is why I am eventually intending on pursuing computer science research in graduate school around aspects of machine learning and safety. Currently, I am interested in Machine Learning, Data Science Programming Languages, Logic and Verification, and Cryptography.

When I am not obsessing over technology, you can find me playing the piano, producing music, learning about neuroscience, lifting and running, reading, watching anime, and a myraid of other activities.
